Mark Cassidy is a Toronto director, performer and teaching artist who has a reputation for creating adventurous, thought-provoking theatre. As co-artistic director of Threshold Theatre, he has devised and directed numerous innovative projects including As I Lay Dying, Beautiful Losers, That Time, Howl, Forms of Devotion, Terror, and Kafka and Son. Mark has also collaborated on new work with many Toronto companies including Platform 9, Shadowland, Te-Amim, Theatre Ji, Puppetmongers and Optic Heart.  Mark has been nominated for two Dora Awards for Outstanding Direction, the John Hirsch Award in Directing, and the national Siminovitch Prize for Excellence in Theatre Directing.
